The Trees for Lebanon project aimed to repopulate degraded forest areas in Bekish, Ehden, and Rashaya by scattering 300,000 with the help of volunteers. The project was initiated by Fondation France with partners Salam LDC and LRI and provided cash-for-work for 40 refugee women and low-income Lebanese neighbors, as well as psycho-social support. Live Love enlisted volunteers and promoted the reforestation trips to engage and empower citizens to contribute to the effort, staying true to our nature pillar, and giving back to the environment.

World Cleanup Day was a busy event for 100 employees from the CMA CGM group, who gathered from all over Lebanon and joined their efforts to remove 357.5 kg of trash from the village of Qornayel. CMA CGM has long been active in the fight against global warming, and this cleanup was one such effort to preserve the biodiversity of Lebanon and its forests.
