Meet our Live Love NC
community leaders
Nicolas Gebrael
NC Head of Chapter
I grew up in Lebanon but NC has my heart and my earliest childhood memories. In Lebanon I was a part of Scouts Du Liban where I served my community by collaborating with organizations such as the Lebanese Red Cross. I currently work with a Clayton-based company, Edge Printed Products in Client Services. During my free time I love to explore our state and find the best places to play sports and hang out with friends. I am dedicated to giving back to our community and bringing awareness to organizations that our state has to offer.
Yara Haidar
Head of Social Media
Hi! I'm Yara Haidar, Head of Social Media. In 2019 I received my Bachelors in Economics with a Minor in Business from East Carolina University. I currently work for TriTek Technologies as the Sales and Marketing Manager. Through my experiences with both corporate companies and local organizations, I've found a passion for supporting my community. With social media at my fingertips, I love to share places in NC that showcase how beautiful fun our state can be. In my spare time I love to travel the coast and enjoy our NC sunrises. I am dedicated to sharing our beautiful state and connecting with organizations that support our mission and strive to improve our community.
Amira Ishak
Head of Volunteering
I'm a Raleigh native with a strong dedication to serving my community. I earned my Bachelors in Communication and Masters of Public Administration from North Carolina State University (GO PACK)! Throughout my studies, I focused on public policies and programs that targeted food accessibility to the youth of NC. I've worked with nonprofits, such as the Triangle Lebanese American Center and Artsplosure, to bring cultural awareness and an appreciation for local art to our community. I am passionate about the impact I can have on my home state by bringing positivity and opportunity to our area!
Sima Haidar,
Team Member
I've grown up in Raleigh, NC and have spent a lot of my time traveling the state for the best views. I received my Bachelors of Psychology from East Carolina University and I am currently pursuing my Masters of Public Health from the University of Nevada-Reno. I also serve on the board of the Triangle Lebanese American Center as the Dabke Chair Person. Throughout my studies and volunteer experiences, I've found a true passion for the health and safety of my community. Through Collaboration I believe that we can encourage our community to join together and make an impact on causes that are centered around our state.

Arts and culture are an essential part of our lives. Creativity and imagination is key to wellbeing, and at the core of creating change. Arts, history and heritage are to be very seriously taken care of.
